NDA Consulting Ltd is an Independent Specialist BEMS/Controls and Smart Buildings Systems Consultancy practice providing Technical Design, Project Management and FM Contract Support Services. We have a number of framework Term Consultancy contracts with large end-user clients including NHS Trusts, Universities and local authorities and work for various public sector clients, local authorities and portfolio management companies as well as providing specialist systems technical support to a number of larger MEP consultancies.
Utilising Intelligent Systems and Technology, NDA promote innovative Building Energy Management Strategies and solutions, in conjunction with the introduction of Engineering and Networking standards, to provide the correct level of monitoring, control and systems integration/interoperability for the building services systems and the built environment. We advocate usable and effective operator interfaces and automatic reporting together with a programme of ‘Building Performance Optimisation and Condition monitoring’ along with energy optimisation and (carbon) reduction initiatives for our clients.
The BEMS & Controls industry has changed significantly over recent years being affected by the implementation of the revisions to Part L of the building regulations and the implications of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive (EPBD). We endeavour to keep fully up-to-date with all legislative changes in order to optimise the service we provide to our clients. Additionally, the industry has converged with the IT world opening up a plethora of options for networking, integration as well as system visualisation platforms and remote monitoring capabilities.

NDA Consulting is a member of the BCIA (Building Controls Industry Association) and the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and were one of the first dedicated Building & Energy Management Systems consultancy to become a member. This represents a significant step forward for the company and the industry.
As a small specialist consultancy practice we are not governed by large company rules and procedures and are therefore able to offer a much more tailored and personalised service to our clients. As part of our on-going commitment to ISO9001 quality standard we ensure that all documentation produced is checked by a peer member before being issued and that associated document control procedures are followed.
As a small team the directors are involved with the day to day project activities and operations for our clients and provide back up and support for our engineers to ensure that quality of service is maintained at all times. We hold regular internal project review meetings to highlight any potential risks and issues so that these can be discussed and measures taken to avert/mitigate any potential problems.
NDA follow a policy of involving more than one Engineer with any project or client such that although an individual takes a lead we always have an additional resource familiar with the project/client that can step in in the event of absence due to annual leave or sickness or in the unlikely event of someone leaving the company.
We are also approved on the Lexica (Formerly ETL) Net Zero Carbon delivery framework which is open to all public sector organisations.
